2. Scope
This policy applies to the FlySys Vario Android application (eu.flysys.vario.android), provided by FlySys d.o.o. Purchases and accounts on the FlySys website are covered separately.

4. Personal data
The app uses Bluetooth to connect to your FlySys Duo, receive live measurements, read and change settings, calibrate it and transfer firmware. Device names, Bluetooth addresses, connection preferences, tone profiles and widget settings are stored on your phone. Live measurements and diagnostic logs are used locally; the app does not automatically upload flight traces or diagnostic logs to FlySys. Information you explicitly send to support is handled to respond to your request.
5. Optional GPS altitude adjustment
Automatic altitude adjustment is optional and disabled until you agree to GPS use. While a Duo is connected, FlySys requests a precise GPS altitude approximately every 15 minutes, including while the app is in the background or the screen is off. GPS measurements are processed on your phone, with an offline conversion to altitude above mean sea level. Only the altitude correction is sent to your Duo over Bluetooth. FlySys does not send your coordinates to a weather provider or a FlySys server and does not store a location history. Inaccurate or unavailable fixes are skipped. Switch to Manual to stop these requests and withdraw consent, disconnect Duo, or revoke location permission in Android settings.
6. Firmware downloads
The app contacts GitLab over HTTPS to check available Duo firmware releases and download signed firmware files. GitLab receives connection information such as the IP address and requested URL. Firmware is transferred to your Duo over Bluetooth; the app does not upload flight measurements or your phone location to GitLab. GitLab handles its service logs under https://about.gitlab.com/privacy/.
